The Ideal Escape in Naxos

Three minutes walk from the village’s public parking lies “Yria Traditional House”, the house of our grandfather Ioannis, which we renovated with care, love and a total respect for the tradition of our island’s architecture, for the memories of our childhood and for our guests.

For the name of our renovated house we were deeply inspired by the nearby ancient temple of Yria, dedicated to the worship of Dionysus the eternally adolescent god, protector of the harvest, the wine, the theater and feasts. In that way, we honor Dionysus’ gift to Naxos and the world: the transmutation of the fruits of the earth, the sun and human effort into wine, which we respectfully offer to our guests.

Yria Traditional House features spacious and tasteful spaces that strike the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary style.

  • Two comfortable bedrooms:
  • The first bedroom includes a single bed and a double bed
  • The second bedroom has a spacious double bed
  • Living room: With two sofa beds
  • Fully equipped kitchen: Comfortable meal preparation area with the best possible equipment to create your own flavors from fresh local produce
  • Two bathrooms: With shower and hairdryer
  • Private yard of approximately 100m2, with three different seating areas and two spacious tables, outdoor shower and plenty of light for moments of rest, relaxation and play for our little friends
  • Luxurious outdoor whirlpool in the courtyard area to enjoy unique moments of relaxation under the starry Cycladic sky

Yria Traditional House is non-smoking throughout.
